Privacy Policy

Effective October 16, 2026

This policy explains what information Tariff Refund Solutions collects through tariffrefundsolutions.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it. We have written it to describe what this site actually does rather than to cover every practice a company might have.

Who we are

Tariff Refund Solutions, 333 Washington Blvd, PMB 607, Marina del Rey, CA 90292. You can reach us at [email protected].

Information you give us directly

Our intake and consultation forms are hosted by JotForm and appear on this site inside an embedded frame. When you complete one, the information you enter goes to JotForm and then to us. Depending on the form, that can include your name, company, email address, phone number, importer of record number, and details about your entries and the duties you paid.

Our tariff calculator asks for an email address if you want results sent to you. The classification and duty figures you enter are processed to return an estimate.

If you email us, we keep the message and your address so we can reply and so we can honor any later request to stop contacting you.

Information collected automatically

We use three third-party services that collect information about how people use this site. We are naming them because you cannot make a sensible decision about a privacy policy that only says "we use analytics."

  • Google Analytics 4 records page views, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser information, and how you moved through the site.
  • Google Ads conversion tracking records whether a visit followed one of our advertisements and whether it led to a form submission. Enhanced conversions is enabled, which means that when you submit a form, a hashed version of information such as your email address may be sent to Google to match the conversion to an ad click. Google receives the hashed value rather than the plain text.
  • Microsoft Clarity records session activity including mouse movement, scrolling, clicks and page interactions, and produces session replays and heatmaps. This means your interactions with pages on this site may be recorded and played back by us in aggregate or individually.

Our site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and Cloudflare processes request data including IP addresses as part of delivering and protecting the site.

We also store a referral code in your browser session storage when you arrive from a campaign link, so that the right source is recorded if you later complete a form. That value is cleared when you close the browser tab.

Cookies and similar technologies

The services above set cookies and use similar browser storage. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics specifically using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking them will not prevent you from reading anything on this site.

How we use information

  • To respond to an inquiry and to evaluate whether we can help with your entries.
  • To provide the services you engage us for, if you become a client.
  • To understand which pages and campaigns are useful, and to improve the site.
  • To meet legal, tax and professional obligations.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal information. We do not share your entry data or the details of your situation with anyone outside the firm and the service providers described here, except where you ask us to or where the law requires it.

Email from us

If we send you a commercial email, every message includes our postal address and a way to opt out. You can also opt out at any time by writing to [email protected] with the word unsubscribe, or by using our unsubscribe page. We honor opt-out requests within ten business days as required by law, and in practice we process them sooner. We keep a suppression record of addresses that have opted out so that we do not contact them again.

Service providers

The third parties named above process information under their own privacy terms: Google, Microsoft, JotForm and Cloudflare.

Retention

We keep inquiry and client information for as long as needed to provide services and to meet professional, tax and record-keeping obligations, and longer where a matter may require it. Analytics data is retained according to the settings of the services described above.

Your choices and requests

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to [email protected] and tell us what you want. We will verify who you are before acting on a request, and we will respond within a reasonable period. Some information cannot be deleted where we are required to keep it, for example records connected to a filed matter.

California residents may have additional rights under California privacy law depending on whether the law applies to a business of our size. We extend the requests described above to anyone who asks, without deciding that question first.

Children

This site is for businesses. It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
